Weezie RobersonGeneral Counsel
While serving as an Associate Attorney at Andrews & Kurth, a Houston based law firm, Weezie was entrusted with managing the liquidation of Enron’s trading books and natural gas liquids inventory during the Enron Bankruptcy – one of the country’s most recognized energy liquidation cases.
She also spearheaded the management of a variety of energy projects at Entergy and The Wing Group, including creating and closing major strategic deals in China for hundreds of MWs for coal-fired power projects, closing an acquisition of a 160 MW gas-fired power project in Columbia and managing legal aspects for financing a Turkish-based 478 MW combined cycle power project utilizing EXIM and OPIC and other financing sources. Weezie has served on the boards of various non-profits and industry associations, including the Board of Directors of the Solar Energy Industry Association (elected alternate). Weezie is a member of the bar in Florida, Alabama, Texas and North Carolina (voluntarily inactive in NC.)
