Chief Corporate Strategy and Procurement Officer & Director
Joseph Kiwak is the Chief Corporate Strategy and Procurement Officer, Director for Sunfinity Renewable Energy. Joseph brings over 30 years’ experience in the supply chain area of the power industry. Prior to joining Sunfinity, Joseph was the Executive Director of Supply Chain for Sunnova Energy and Vice President of Supply Chain for NRG Renew/Home. There he planned, implemented, managed, and administered all procurement and contracting efforts. At Sunfinity Mr. Kiwak is responsible for the planning, implementing, coordinating, managing, and administering all procurement and contracting efforts to efficiently and effectively maximize strategic sourcing, contracting, procurement, supply chain management, and supporting technologies to ensure Sunfinity can obtain the best value in the procurement of goods and services to meet its objectives. He is also responsible for identifying go-to-market strategies and developing key partnerships to drive business deals from concept to implementation. He is experienced at managing diverse, multidisciplinary teams in the execution and successful completion of multi-million dollar projects within time and budget constraints. This includes more than 28 Solar projects including Residential, C&I, Community Solar, and Utility Scale accounting for more than over 480MW.
Joseph has authored and co-authored several industry reports and articles in the utility generation supply chain arena. He attended Penn State University with undergraduate studies in Mechanical and Architectural Engineering. He is a member of the American Solar Energy Society, American Nuclear Society, Institute of Supply Management, National Contract Management Association, National Association of Purchasing Management, American Production and Inventory Control Society, Project Management Institute, and Investment Recovery Association.
